Bean Boozled Challenge

I made a fun video challenge with my friends over the bean boozled game. There were lots of little edit by lead editor Austin Sarol that made the video funny. It took some time to make the edits. I used a Nikon D3300 to film the long shot. That is why we put in Edits to keep people interested.

MLK

In this content the story is about one kid who is affected by the darker side of the world. He is leaves home because he is angry at his girlfriend for breaking up with hime and walks out of the house. He then chooses to go up the parking garage after a bad day. He throws the cigarette and it lands on the good kid which comes up and resolves things with the bad kid.

Shot Variety

The shots in these beautiful scenes were shot by Trey and I mostly. The cinematic shots as you will see in the film are shots that we focus in and out. The steady camera work takes practice because we needed to improvise without a glide track. This film was for the MLK contest.

MESSENGERS 2

I am the cinematographer of this recent film we are producing. Trey Seaba the director of the film is showing what he can do. The film is a hard process to go through because the director has to coordinate the places and how your going to film. The film crew is fun to work with and makes the process more interesting.

The film crew went out to the field to film a fight scene. There were obstacles such as people making up excuses to kick us out. We filmed a good chunk. The process took a couple of hours. The film is going to turn out well because the director got a fight choreographer to help out with the fight scenes.

Camera shots

I would get you some of the example shots, but Trey and Anton, the ones in charge of the film would like for everyone to wait till the official trailer comes out. I laid onto the ground and got a great shot of the hunter in the story. I got several cinematic shots but still can't show you due to secrecy.

Storyline

The story is continuing after the cliff hanger in the first one...there is some confusions occasionally due to the fact that i wasn't on the production team in the first one, other than that it is well put together.  the story revolves around Cameron, Easton and Griffin and shows each of their struggles against the hunter and the new characters being revealed. a lot is being kept secret but one of the biggest things we are aloud to speak of is the new appearance of a superhuman named Grayson with the ability to have super speed.

Latino/Latina Story Walk

I walked into a warm smile with nice workers as a start to filming the wonders of the story walk. Parents as Volunteers was a group helping contribute to the event.

Events

There was array of different stuff to do. Like the Martial arts demonstration and trial, Police officer who taught CPR, dances and etc.

New Ideas

I learned that there are new shots you can take with a wide array of shows and demonstrations happening.

Shots Used

I used wide shots and close up
shots to show the entire performance
because it was beautiful.

                                       The Retribution

Want to be emotional watch this video. It's a heartbreaking story of 2 kids as childhood friends fought each other because 1 kid left the other and he does.... find out yourself by watching this video.

Cool Stuff In the Short Film

To make fake blood use corn syrup and red dye if you want that darker color use blu dye not to much tho.

Exquisite Shots

I used on awesome transition of the shows saying that he ran away from the antagonist. My great buddy Alexander jumped off with the camera and ran after me for perspective.  WHAT THE PEANUT BUTTER! This dude just died. Why? I don't know, but you can find out if you watch this video. I fake punched the camera for another perspective shot.

The Robbery

In this fun, amazing short film, Trey Seaba filmed the shot sequence of a fight scene. The first shot is the greatest fight shot. Trey shook the camera a little when the punch was aligned.

This was a fun experience because we took about   30-35 min of the remaining class period to take these shots. Trey edited the scenes and took in other clips to make sort of a story which I thought was really creative. I am the kid in the sweater.

Fighting Choreography

Jason, myself and Trey all helped and pitch in to make the choreography. There is one shot were it looks out of place but that is what we need to work on. I always loved fight scenes so Trey and I decided to make a quick one. Since the whole team was on the same page and had similar ideas we didn't have any disagreement.

A Start to a New Year

Image result for changing aperture on cameraImage result for camera on tripodI started out with a nice group that although I felt a little left out because the group soon disbanded for the time being. There are challenges when you start a project.

Start of the Project

This video was a how much you love/miss your school. In my case it was Olathe Northwest. The first group I was on helped me how to use the camera and tripod. They taught me how to use change the aperture and shutter speed. Then they showed me how to change the focus of the camera.

Then the group was waiting for time to go by so they get cool variety of shots in different events. I decided to join a new group. I took a couple of shots and learned from the master Jason. I'm not the best cinematographer but I will soon learn to become one.

End of the Video

As Trey who was are editor edited the film, we stood by watching him at work. Jason gave him tips on the video. He said, "Since the video shots transitioned from a light background to a dark background you should use as blur into the transition". Soon the video was finished and we looked at the video and thought it's a nice video.
